Remember.al

This historical, multimedia and education project were implemented for 20 months from 1 March 2021-December 2022 in Tirana, Durres and Vlora. The aim of the project was to show the story of Albanians who survived Mauthausen Camp. The project included historical research, a documentary, interviews with survivor relatives, three exhibitions with facts and artefacts in Tirana, Durres and Vlora, education curricula for high schools, forums with teachers of History, and open lessons in three universities. At the end an essay competition was organized with students at high schools and many prizes were awarded. .

Training Albanian youth with Tirana's cultural heritage

This project was implemented in Cooperation with Institute of Albanological Studies in Tirana. A series of lessons regarding the most important historical periods of Tirana were organized with participation of 200 students from Highs Schools in Tirana. Training journalists with polluters of Lake Ohrid

This project was financed by Journalismfund.eu and implemented by DMO Albania from September 2022 to May 2023. The aim of the project is to inform journalists covering environmental issues about the polluters of Lake Ohrid, Albanian side, which is already part of UNESCO. The project included research on potential threats of Lake Ohrid, a training of 30 young journalists from national and local media, visits on hotspots, the most polluted area, and an awareness campaign to policy makers to address these problems and solve them. The projects impact were more than 20 articles and reportages published and broadcasted in National and Local media raising these issues regarding the pollution of Lake Ohrid, UNESCO site.
