Tirana Heritage Routes is a new initiative by DMO Albania, funded by Boost Balkans. The project started on 15 October 2025 and will run until 15 October 2026. This one-year project aims to preserve Tirana’s cultural heritage through a digital archive that will be open to the public, while also encouraging local economic growth through sustainable tourism. Using modern technology, drone footage, Google Maps, and video storytelling, the project will document the ancient walls, ruins, and historical layers of Tirana — from antiquity to modern times.
